YT Signal ("we", "our", "the app") provides YouTube research and channel growth tools for content creators.
We store your email and display name for login, subscription, and account management.
When you enter a channel or video URL, we fetch publicly available data via the YouTube Data API v3, such as titles, view counts, and metadata, to generate research and content recommendations.
If you choose to connect your own channel, YT Signal requests read-only OAuth scopes:
https://www.googleapis.com/auth/youtube.readonlyhttps://www.googleapis.com/auth/yt-analytics.readonlyWith this access we read impressions, click-through rate, audience retention, traffic sources, watch time, and subscriber conversion for videos you own. We cannot upload, edit, delete, or otherwise modify your YouTube content or account.
OAuth tokens are encrypted at rest on our backend and are never exposed to the browser or stored in plain text. You may disconnect access at any time from account settings, which revokes stored tokens.
We do not sell your data. Data is used only to power the research, packaging, and analytics features inside YT Signal.
Account and workspace data are retained while your account is active. You may request deletion by contacting support.
For privacy questions, contact the account owner listed in the OAuth consent screen support email.
